GPZ500 Project Bike - pt2 so it begins...

Part 2 Does it work off the bat?

I have now had a look over the bike quickly and theres a few worrying patches of rust but i'm hoping on further inspection will just be surface rust, noticed a few bodge fixes here and there which I will repair more neatly if I can get it to run. All cosmetic work is sidelined until it's running.

Unfortunately the battery is dry as grilled badger someone left grilling overnight as they were too drunk to remove it from the grill.

Bodge #1 dremeled down terminals, nuts slotted in behind for bolts to go in, also one of the terminal connectors on the wiring came off while removing the battery....

However...........topped up battery with tap water (chucking the battery anyway) and managed to get enough charge into it to test the electrics on the bike work, HUZZAH! at least something is working from the go. all lights working, indicators fine. boosh. Not tried the starter yet as currently no oil in the bike.

As a side note, it looks like prev owners didn't like the colour pink XD
